FIRST SUNDAY OF ADVENT / QUARTERLY PRAYER SERVICE The first Sunday of each month is our Family Sunday, where we typically take a break from our sermon series to feature a special guest speaker from one of our ministries or partner churches or even from our greater church or local community. Once a quarter, Family Sunday is dedicated to a focused time of prayer and reflection for our church family and our community. Communion is offered to all on Family Sunday. Sunday, 10:30am DECEMBER 8, 11:45AM CHRISTMAS LUNCHEON & CONGREGATIONAL MEETING Please join us immediately following our Sunday morning worship service for a festively decorated Christmas luncheon next door in the Fellowship Center. We will also hold our congregational membership meeting to approve our 2025 budget and confirm our incoming Leadership Team members, so it is important to please plan to attend if you are a current member of the church. PRAYER TIME Every Thursday morning, we're stopping to pray together—even if we're not together. Wherever you happen to be, just take a moment to spend some time in prayer, or if you'd like, feel free to stop by the office and pray with us in person. TUESDAY, NOVEMBER 5 & 19, 10:00AM LADIES BIBLE STUDY Our new Ladies Bible Study is starting up in September and will meet on the first and third Tuesday of each month at 10:00AM at the Bjerke home. Please contact the church office for the address. THURSDAY, 8:00AM GENERATION-X SMALL GROUP This bible study group led by Pastor Chris Williams is geared toward our Gen-X'ers—if you played Atari at home, dumped your allowance into Pac Man, Joust, and Space Invaders, and saw Star Wars or Grease in theaters (or at the drive-in!), you'll fit right in. The group meets Thursday mornings at 8:00am in the church office. * Members Only jacket/Ray Bans not required SATURDAY, 8:00AM MEN'S BIBLE STUDY The Men's Bible Study meets Saturday mornings at 8:00 in the Heartland Family Room, downstairs in the main building. |
