Who is FMSC?
Founded in 1987, Feed My Starving Children is a Christian nonprofit that provides nutritionally complete meals for starving, malnourished and hungry people in nearly 70 countries. The prepackaged dry meals –costing less than a quarter each to make – are funded and assembled by donor volunteers in the United States. Our in-country partners use the food to prevent starvation and curb malnourishment in children and families worldwide. Our Food We have 3 dried, fortified meal formulas addressing the world’s main hunger needs. Each culturally-neutral meal packet contains 6 -12 servings, depending on the food formula. Our Costs Each MannaPack meal costs 22¢ to produce. Our Food Distribution Partners Our distribution partners use MannaPacks to fuel development and ministry worldwide. Missions and humanitarian organizations partner with FMSC and distribute meals to children and families in various community settings: orphanages, schools, clinics, refugee camps and nutrition programs. Our Donors FMSC is 100% donor funded. Because of our low overhead costs, donations of all amounts go a long way in the fight against world hunger. For nearly 10 years, FMSC has devoted more than 92% of total donations directly to feeding kids. If you would like to donate to our Central Valley MobilePack event, checks are to be made payable to Feed My Starving Children (your check must indicate our event number: 1502-212. You can put them in the Sunday offering or give your check to Teri Hardin or Sue Wilson. For More Information Contact Leslie Trueb at 470-3585. Together we can make a HUGE difference!!
