Food Pantry
The pantry is now available for Heartland families in need.
If you would like to contribute, you may bring the food or toiletries on Sundays and place them in the Family room, or in the entryway of the sanctuary. You may also bring items to the church office Monday through Thursday from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., or on Friday from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
Items needed:
- breakfast items
- dinner foods
- healthy snack foods
- toiletries (bath soap, shampoo, toothpaste, toilet tissue, etc.)
Please leave donations in the entryway, Family room, or church office
An Invitation Opportunities for You
There is a new Opportunities Bulletin Board available for you to make known your needs or availability, to advertise your business, and to make known special local events of interest to the church family.
There are three main categories:
NEEDS: Llet people know of a need or the availability of something (i.e. of housing, a job, furniture, a baby sitter, a ride, etc.).
EVENTS: This may be include special local events or activities (i.e. yard sale, car wash, fund-raising banquets, Walk for Life, Golf Tournament, etc.).
ADVERTISING: You may advertise your business (i.e. realtor, insurance agent, baby sitter), your latest invention, group wholesale order, etc.
If you want to have something posted, please submit the information to Cindy in the office, and include your name and a contact phone number. Your item must be limited to fit on a 3x5 card. You may send it to Cindy by email heartlandcc@charterinternet.com, by phone (599-4233), or by delivery to the church office. She will transfer your information to a 3x5 card and post it in the appropriate category. The card will be dated and removed after three months. PLEASE DO NOT POST YOUR OWN ITEM ON THE BULLETIN BOARD!
