Welcome Pastor Scott Oas

Dear Heartland Family, Jean and I were both raised in loving, stable, Christian families. Our parents were committed to each other, to God and to the church. I am the youngest of my family, with two older brothers and a sister. Our parents modeled their faith to us by actively serving at church, helping those in need and opening our home to host events or house missionaries. I committed my life to Christ at the age of eight at a Billy Graham crusade. My father walked forward with me and also served as a counselor at the Crusade. I felt called to ministry when I was in high school and began actively serving in my home church. In college, I attended Campus Crusade for Christ training and learned the value of sharing my faith. I married Jean while at Fuller Seminary. She has been my faithful partner, friend, supporter, encourager, beautiful wife and fantastic mother to our kids. We have three children - Jessica, who has a job; Calee, a college student and a son, Kinzie who is a high school Junior.
